February in the Graduate Academy Leipzig
Writing Month
New year, old plans: Continue writing your dissertation, finally finish it or just get started. In the Writing Month of the Graduate Academy Leipzig, you can put your good intentions into practice: Throughout February, the Graduate Academy Leipzig is offering workshops, writing advice and joined writing sessions for doctoral researchers and early postdocs of our university.
Every Monday, we get the week off to a productive start with Co-Writing Monday. In between, there are various workshops on the topic of writing throughout the month, including Academic Writing in the Humanities and in the Natural and Life Sciences, Style and Expression, and Dealing with Artificial Intelligence in Academic Writing. A highlight is the Night of the Unfinished Projects, where we finally come to an end with an open writing project.
Villa Tillmanns will thus be a place for collaborative writing on publications, chapters, text passages and for exchanging ideas with other doctoral researchers, being productive and relaxing together during the Writing Month. We will provide snacks, coffee and tea during breaks, lunch can be brought along, heated in the kitchen and eaten in the meeting room.
Registration
For all events, registration is necessary via the registration form.
To participate in all events, you have to become a member of the Graduate Academy Leipzig. Doctoral researchers only need proof of a supervision agreement and inclusion in a faculty's list of doctoral candidates.
