Target Group
Postdocs, junior professors, group leaders, professors and doctoral researchers in the final phase of their thesis.
You should have a DFG proposal in mind and developed basic ideas and research questions for your proposal.

Course Description
The workshop will interactively work out important elements for writing a successful DFG proposal. The following content will be covered:

  • DFG funding opportunities
  • structure of a DFG research proposal
  • important aspects of the proposal in detail
  • necessary documents
  • criteria of the reviewers

During the interactive workshop, a DFG research grant proposal will be discussed point by point, accompanied by practical exercises with special focus on objectives, work programme and finances. This is an event of the Department 1: Research and Transfer.

Note for participants: For the face to face workshop on 25 October 2023 please bring pen and paper or laptop for the exercise.
