We offer international early career researchers who are members of the Graduate Academy Leipzig the opportunity to learn German and increase their language proficiency in our ongoing German courses.

Learn German at the Graduate Academy Leipzig

We offer international doctoral researchers and postdocs who are members of the Graduate Academy Leipzig the opportunity to learn German and increase their language proficiency. In partnership with interDaF e.V. am Herder-Institut at Leipzig University, we organise courses at a wide variety of language levels. Attendees are placed in courses following a placement test.

The courses for all language levels are offered in three rounds per year:

  • January to March (registration in December)
  • April to July (registration in March)
  • October to December (registration in September)

Registration

Please register by 20 March 2024 via the registration form. Please note, that our course offer is aimed only at members of the Graduate Academy Leipzig. As a doctoral researcher or early postdoc of Leipzig University, you can register as a member online. Alternative providers for German courses can be found in the info box on the right.

Cost

All courses cost €55.

For international members who would like to learn German and do not have any prior knowledge.
