Course Description
This course builds on "Data Science with R: Advanced". We will enhance participants' existing knowledge of R, focusing on RMarkdown and Quarto for research publication. Participants will learn to draft their papers in RMarkdown and Quarto, utilise bibliography software within RStudio and integrated R code cells, and employ RMarkdown's / Quarto's dynamic updating of plots and values in research documents. This course focuses on the publication features of the R programming language and does not intend to cover in-depth statistical theory.
Notes for workshop participants: R (>4.3) and RStudio will need to be installed prior to the course; a second screen has been recommended by past participants
